The basics
Are you a medical service?
No, and this matters. We do not diagnose, treat, give medical advice or make decisions about your care. We handle everything around the treatment — getting you there, keeping you comfortable, making sure you understood what was said. All clinical care comes from the hospital and its doctors.
Do hospitals pay you to send patients to them?
No. We take no referral fee, commission or kickback from any hospital, clinic or doctor. You pay us directly, which means our advice about where to go costs us nothing to give honestly.
Which languages can you interpret?
Bahasa Malaysia, English, Mandarin, Cantonese, Hokkien and Bahasa Indonesia as standard. Tamil can usually be arranged with a few days' notice. Tell us what you need when you book.
Can I ask for a female companion?
Yes, at no extra charge, and you never need to explain why. Just say so when you book and we will confirm it in writing before the appointment.
Booking and payment
How much notice do you need?
Three days is comfortable for an appointment companion, and a week for an airport pickup or a full package. We do take last-minute bookings when someone is free — it is always worth asking.
How do I pay?
Bank transfer, DuitNow QR or cash in ringgit. For overseas families we can also take an international transfer. For bookings over RM 500 we ask for half up front and half when the work is done. You get a receipt for everything.
What if the appointment is cancelled or my flight changes?
Tell us as soon as you know and we will move the booking at no charge. Hospital appointments get rescheduled constantly and flights get delayed — we plan for it. A cancellation on the day with no notice at all costs half.
Coming from overseas
How far is Seremban from the airport?
About 54 km from KLIA and KLIA2, which is 50 to 60 minutes by car. That is closer than much of Kuala Lumpur, and the road is a straight run down the expressway.
Can you help with the visa?
We are not immigration agents and we cannot lodge applications for you. What we can do is help you gather the supporting documents hospitals issue, explain what is usually asked for, and point you to the official sources. Always check the current rules with the Malaysian mission in your country.
Do you help with the hospital bill or insurance?
We can sit with you while you go through an estimate, make sure you have asked what is and is not included, and help you chase paperwork the insurer wants. We do not negotiate on your behalf and we never handle your money for hospital payments.
For families abroad
My parents are private people. Will this feel intrusive?
That is a fair worry, and it is why we send the same companion each time wherever we can. Your parent decides whether we come into the consultation room or wait outside. Many families start with one appointment to see how it feels before arranging anything ongoing.
What exactly is in the written summary?
What the doctor said in plain words, the medicines prescribed and what each is for, the date and place of the next visit, anything the family has been asked to do, and clear photographs of prescriptions, referral letters and results. It reaches you the same day.
